Language and status

The German version of this document is the legally binding one. This English version is a convenience translation. Version 1.1, effective from 18 September 2026.

What these instructions cover

Using Tellersonne for free costs you nothing - you can delete your account at any time without notice. A right of withdrawal matters above all when you take out a paid subscription, that is Tellersonne Plus. These instructions apply to all distance contracts about digital content and digital services that you conclude with us as a consumer. If you take out the subscription in the App Store or on Google Play, the purchase contract is concluded with Apple or Google; there is a separate section about that below.

What you know before you buy

Tellersonne Plus cannot be bought at the moment. Once it can, it is to cost €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year, each including statutory value added tax. The term is one month or one year respectively and renews automatically for the same term until you cancel. New subscriptions start with a free trial of 7 days; payment at the stated price begins afterwards. There are no follow-up costs and no further minimum term. What always counts is the price your store shows you before the purchase. The button that places the order bindingly is provided by the store, which also states that the purchase is subject to payment.

A note on the wording

The following section is the statutory instruction. It therefore addresses you in the formal way German law prescribes - everywhere else in the app we stay informal.

Withdrawal instructions - right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tim Hauke, Albert-Schweitzer-Ring, 25524 Itzehoe, Deutschland, e-mail: mail@tellersonne.app, phone: 015751578216) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form printed below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. After withdrawal you may no longer use the digital content and digital services or make them available to third parties; we may prevent further use by technical means.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, your right of withdrawal expires if we have begun to perform the contract, you have expressly consented to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period expires, you have confirmed your awareness that you lose your right of withdrawal by giving that consent, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (§ 356 (5) BGB). In the case of a contract for a digital service, your right of withdrawal expires if we have fully performed the service, you have expressly consented to us beginning performance before the withdrawal period expires, and you have confirmed your awareness that you lose your right of withdrawal upon full performance of the contract (§ 356 (4) BGB). When you buy in the App Store or on Google Play, the stores obtain this consent and confirmation during the purchase; because the subscription or trial starts immediately, your right of withdrawal may therefore expire before the fourteen days are over.

Model withdrawal form

If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back to us. You can simply copy the text into an e-mail. To Tim Hauke, Albert-Schweitzer-Ring, 25524 Itzehoe, Deutschland, e-mail: mail@tellersonne.app, phone: 015751578216 - I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content / the provision of the following digital service (*): - Ordered on (*) / received on (*): - Name of the consumer(s): - Address of the consumer(s): - Signature of the consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): - Date: (*) Delete as appropriate.

Purchases through the App Store and Google Play

When you buy Tellersonne Plus inside the app, the purchase runs through Apple or Google. The respective store is then your contracting partner for the purchase, the billing and the refund, and its terms and refund rules apply in addition. The fastest way to withdraw or ask for a refund is therefore to contact the store directly: at Apple through "Report a Problem" in your purchase history, on Google Play through the order overview in your account. Your statutory rights towards us remain unaffected - just write to mail@tellersonne.app if you get stuck and we will help you.

Cancellation, deletion and contact

Withdrawal is not the same as cancellation: cancelling ends a running subscription at the end of the paid period, and you do that in the subscription settings of your store - in the app, "Manage subscription" takes you straight there. As long as Plus is available only through the App Store and Google Play, there is no separate cancellation or withdrawal button on our website, because the contract is not concluded there. As soon as we offer Plus directly on https://tellersonne.app/, we will set up a clearly visible "Cancel contracts here" button as required by § 312k BGB and a permanently available withdrawal function under § 356a BGB with a confirmation page and a confirmation of receipt. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Account or at https://tellersonne.app/en/delete-account; deleting the account does not end a running subscription. We answer questions about withdrawal and billing at billing@tellersonne.app and general questions at support@tellersonne.app. The terms of use are at https://tellersonne.app/en/terms and our provider details at https://tellersonne.app/en/imprint.
